I will always have a soft spot for Tasty Pot because it was often the only meal I'd look forward to help get through the week in college. I didn't frequent this location, but I've been to other ones plenty enough. Most things are consistent! Parking is in a big shared lot and Tasty Pot is a little hidden towards the right side of the plaza next to IHOP. I've never had a problem finding parking. First, I love that they have monthly specials. They get texted to me each month and are pretty good! Here are the March specials for example: Monday & Wednesday: BOGO 50% off Thursday: 1.5 extra protein for each pot & Seniors (65+) get 15% off Friday: Students get 15% off Weekends: 20% off appetizers Service is friendly and attentive. When we came, there were only a few other customers. The inside has a ton of tables and feels nice and spacious. They have a sauce bar which is well-maintained. Food is always good! This is an individual hot pot, similar to boiling point. I think that the portions for most things are good, but there could but be a little more meat especially for the price. Broth is good but I feel like it could use a little more flavor! My favorite pots are the Taiwanese Supreme Spicy and the Stinky Tofu. Tasty Pot is a gem, and although there are plenty of other hot pot restaurants in the area, I will always crave it and encourage others to try it!

This place was very solid - they have everything you need in a hotpot place. Self serve sauce station, open space, and plenty of room for our individual beef pot. The beef was pretty nice and the portions are generous. We also had some popcorn chicken with some salt/pepper to dip which complemented the soup very well.

As you may or may not know, Tasty Pot is pretty much another Boiling Point - a precooked/pre-set hotpot over a fire. Everything is basically cooked when you get it. The menu does have a lot to choose from like if you want a lamb pot, beef pot, Vegetarian pot, etc. You also can choose if you want rice or vermicelli. You will need cook the vermicelli in the hot soup. The portion sizing is similar to BP. Unfortunately no lemon sour dessert thing like BP lol. The food itself tastes great. It's not overly salty, and they have a dipping sauce bar which allow you to make your own dipping sauce. They do have that bean paste similar to Boiling Point. This sauce bar only exists in this location and not at the Alhambra one. The service is actually really good. They do come check up on you often. They refill your soup. The food does take some time to come out though. The interior of the place is modern with the neat signs and it has a lot of natural sun light since it faces east. Restrooms are clean as well. Parking could be a challenge since there are a lot of businesses in the plaza. I came at non-peak lunch time and I had trouble finding a spot. Overall, 5/5! I would recommend and would come back again.

I was curious to try this location since we're repeated customers at-the Rancho restaurant. The concept is similar however there's a self serving bar with condiments such as soy garlic (fave), fermented soybean paste, chili oil, cilantro, garlic paste, sambal chili paste, ponzu and a sesame sauce. You order by scanning the QR code and adding your selection to cart then sending it to the kitchen. This location offers your choice of green or black tea... with ice or without... I asked for hot tea and was charged extra for it. The service however is not on par to the Rancho, where the servers are always attentive, comes by regularly to check on the table and refills the broth without having to be flagged down. Overall the flavor tasted like what I'm used to, and bc it's closer to my parents house- I'm sure we'll be back.

Nice clean hot pot place for when you are not in the mood for AYCE hot pot. They have a good variety of choices including a Taiwanese Stinky Tofu hot pot and the tofu wasn't that stinky. Good size portions similar to other individual hot pot places. Friendly service with regular offers to refill the soup base. Check out my pics!

Such a spacious restaurant and very clean. You order online through a QR code. You can order your add-ons, drinks etc. Their hot pot is a good size. We got extra toppings and our table was so full. They come by with extra broth if you need it and have a whole sauce bar you can help yourself to. Overall, nice place. Would come back for their appetizers and hot pot.

I ate here with my family and loved the meal. I ordered the beef hot soup, which had a big and filling portion size. The broth got served boiling hot with many ingredients and tasted flavorful. I highly recommend ordering the popcorn chicken, which tasted deliciously savory. I also ordered the Hokkaido milk tea, which had a discounted price of $2. I made a reservation via Yelp thinking that I'd have to wait. However, the restaurant was almost empty on a Sunday lunch around 1 pm. The restaurant had a good ambience, and I liked the service. Our server helped a family member smother the flame by lifting and moving a lever at the bottom of the bowl. Overall, this restaurant serves great Taiwanese hotpot meals at competitive prices.

I ordered the Beef Hot Pot and Popcorn Chicken today. You ordered the items on a QR code and the food is brought to you. There is also a sauce bar on the side so you can make your own dipping sauce. The popcorn chicken tasted light and airy. Would totally recommend ordering it for a light snack. The hot pot had an ample amount of items but the broth was a little lacking. I got the medium spicy but couldn't taste much of the spice. Would recommend going if other hot pot places are busy/packed.
